Highfields Church of Christ began in 2002, first gathering in a tent at Shannon Park, then meeting at Geham State School, before finding our home at 6 Highfields Road in 2021.

Today, we remain a warm, down-to-earth community where people are genuinely welcome. You won’t be lost in a crowd here — you’ll be known, valued, and invited into the community. Whether you’ve been part of church all your life, are returning after time away, or are simply exploring faith, you are welcome here.

We are a Christ-centred church with a faithful desire to reflect the love of Jesus both within our church and across the wider Highfields community.

Our Affiliation

Highfields Church of Christ is part of the Churches of Christ Queensland movement. Each local church is independently led, but we share a common commitment to following Jesus and loving our communities.

What Matters To Us

I joined Highfields Church of Christ in early 2025. I’m a mum of two young boys and enjoy a good cup of tea, quiet moments with Jesus, and helping keep the many practical details of church life running smoothly.

Serving and leading alongside Josh is such a joy. We sensed God’s call into ministry together early on, and I’m grateful to now serve side by side with him at Highfields Church of Christ.

I’m passionate about the clear teaching of the gospel through Scripture and seeing lives shaped and transformed by its power. I love walking alongside people as they grow in faith and confidence in Him.

Outside of church, I enjoy flat whites while reading my Bible, lifting weights or going for a run, and spending time with Josh and our two young boys.

It is an honour to serve alongside my best friend and wife, Jess. When we were dating, we both sensed that God was calling us into ministry together, and we feel so grateful to now serve side by side at Highfields Church of Christ.

I love the gospel and sharing God’s love with others. I also love seeing people grow in their faith and become all that God has created them to be.

Outside of church, I enjoy spending time with our two young boys, chasing a golf ball around, and watching just about any sport.
